The grapes for this classic Stags Leap Cabernet Sauvignon were hand picked to ensure the highest quality. Fermentation of the de-stemmed and crushed Cabernet Sauvignon berries was carried out by select wine yeasts. Barrique barrels were chosen to age the wine for 22 months, and malolactic fermentation took place in barrel. Three times per day, the grapes were punched down to maintain the bold tannins and rich color of this wine.
