Hints of violet and black fruit tantalize the palate. Rich flavors and magnificent tannins allow for this wine to hold beautifully for years.
Petite Sirah shines in the superb climate of California’s Napa Valley. The grapes were fermented at fairly cool temperatures (76-78 degrees) to tame the big tannins. The wine fermented to dryness after pressing and malo-lactic took place in tank. It was aged in American Oak and a light gelatin fining was carried out to smooth the wine’s edges.
Try with grilled venison or Asian spiced pork.
